We’ve had so many people ask when a particular female in our foundation herd is having her cria and then for photos of the new kids, we decided to dedicate a page to the happy news. They've all now arrived. Six girls and four boys - 6 in color! Dads are Accoyo McGwire, Aussie Rockford, Premier's Sol Absolute, Peruvian Presidio, Maple Brook Barnabus, Rayo's Roso e Grigio and Xanadu 'Round Midnight.   News Flash - 2005 Crias Have Arrived!   Xanadu P. He's the 4th full sibling from this matchup & the 1st to appear in fawn. Sister, Donno Bello, is a 5X champion including white fleece champ @ 2004 Nationals.   Brother Imperiale took 1st @ Nationals in 2005 and  sister, Diamond Dust, has just taken her 1st Championship. Sire:  Peruvian Presidio Dam:  Daisy May Legacy Brew He's thinking about his color right now (light brown or rose grey), and his fleece is exquisite. He's a Presidio son from our great maroon mom, Daisy.  He's the full brother of our 4X color champion dark brown, Xanadu 'Round Midnight, who is already putting color champions on the ground in greys and blacks. Sire: Premier’s Sol Absolute Dam: Aysen Concepcion  He’s loaded with golden fawn crimp and completely correct in every way. His dad, Absolute, is a multiple rose grey color champion whose crias are now making their own mark in the ring and at auctions across the country.  Absolute was the top-selling alpaca at Futurity Auction in April.  This boy is loaded with grey genetics. Sire:  Xanadu 'Round Midnight Dam: ACR Legger’s Roo Girl Our 1st baby of the year was a crimpy, silver girl from Color Champion Presidio son, Xanadu ‘Round Midnight, and one of our great silver dams. Her blanket is a nearly solid silver and is loaded with character.  She has a great head, full coverage all down  her legs and great size. Sire:  Aussie Rockford Dam: Little T Another beautiful girl. Pavlova arrived about a month and a half late but was well worth waiting for. Her fleece is a bright and crimpy fawn though, with 2 grey parents. Her fleece is bright and crimpy and with her vicuna-pattern fleece and 2 grey parents, we know she'll throw grey.   Xanadu P. Donno Bello (Presidio daughter) When we purchased Barnabus at the 2004 Futurity Auction, we felt he'd be a perfect match with our Caligula and Presidio daughters. This girl is breathtaking and exceeds all of our hopes for this pairing. Mom had the White Color Champion Fleece at AOBA in 2004 to go with 5 other championships so this little girl is destined for stardom.  She'll be in the ring this fall.   Xanadu P. Cloisonné   Click on the thumbnails  to see a larger view. Sire: Maple Brook Barnabus Dam: Xanadu P. Juliette [Caligula daughter] Our second Barnabus girl arrived 4 days after the first. Mom is a blue ribbon winner at AOBA and her girl has inherited both the extreme density and character from mom and bundled fleece and fineness from Barnabus.   1st Place at the GWAS Show in May at 6 months. Xanadu P. Trovatore   Click on the thumbnails  to see a larger view. Sire:  Peruvian Presidio Dam: Maple Brook Penelope (Bueno daughter) He's the 4th full sibling and 1st brother from this pairing. His full sister, Xanadu P. Travesura, took white Reserve Champion at the 2004 Futurity and his fawn, full sister, Xanadu P. Trousseau, is already a color champion and is bred to Victor's Vaccoyo. This guy has champion written all over him, will likely be for sale after we've had a chance to show him.  2nd Place in the large 2006 GWAS class at 6 months.   Xanadu P. Sire:  Peruvian Presidio Dam: Spring Moon, [Accoyo Pacachutti/Hemmingway] Winter Moon was our 10th and final cria of 2005 and well worth the waiting. She was born on a -12 degree morning, but was strong and beautiful and is now pronking with her older sibs.  She's the full sister to blue ribbon winner Xanadu P. Andiamo.   She'll be for sale in December!
